Responsible for
Supervising shifts within the Computer Operations/Data Centre. |

Reports To
Computer Operations Manager. |

Supervises
Computer Operators. |
| |
Main Activities
Ensuring all system services are operating.
Carrying out first level problem determination of computer problems.
Ensuring that the quality of computer printed output is acceptable.
Initialising computer systems and network and all associated applications.

Ability to diagnose common problems in the operation of equipment and systems.
Production scheduling, leadership and motivational skills.

Typical Experience
At least 4 years of experience in Computer Operations, with at least 2 years in a large IT site. Will have completed all necessary training courses in the operation of the equipment and systems. |
