Responsible for
Identifying and developing opportunities for new and existing investment Products and services.
 
Reports To
Head of Product Development, Marketing and Sales Manager, or Chief Executive.
 
Supervises
May assist in the training of junior Product Development staff and/or new Representatives.
 
Main Activities
  • Reviewing and refining competitive intelligence to identify new Product ideas and opportunities as well as ensure the sustained competitiveness of existing lines.
  • Liaising with relevant staff such as, sales and client services to define customer needs and demands for new Products.
  • Generating new product ideas.
  • Evaluating the new Product ideas generated and developing comprehensive proposals and business plans for the most promising.
  • Achieving internal support and buy-in for Products being created throughout the Development process.
  • Developing and executing plans to obtain acceptance and transition of Product Managers during the launch phase.
  • Participating on project teams with responsibility for developing and launching new Products with approved business plans.

    Typical Experience
    5+ years relevant financial industry experience potentially with a background in Project Management, Portfolio Management or Marketing, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications.
