Responsible for
Ensuring profits of the organisation are protected by maintaining effective financial controls, including cash control, capital expenditure and investments.
 
Reports To
Senior Chief Accountant/Financial Controller.
 
Supervises
Accounts Department staff.
 
Main Activities
  • Participating as member of a Management team in all financial planning and providing financial advice to Management.
  • Ensuring that annual budgets and all other financial reports are prepared as required.
  • Providing interpretations and recommendations on variances in budget.
  • Preparing and submitting the organisation's returns to the various statutory authorities.
  • Establishing and continually modifying financial and general accounting procedures and systems.
  • Managing a team of Accounts Department staff through all aspects of recruiting, training, reward and performance monitoring.

    Typical Experience
    Professionally qualified A.C.A. or C.P.A. with at least 7 - 10 years of experience.
