Responsible for
Providing 'full service' to allocated clients under direct supervision of senior staff, ranging from relevant market and company information to facilitating the process of trading shares.
 
Reports To
Head of Department.
 
Supervises
No supervisory responsibilities.
 
Main Activities
  • Providing appropriate advice to clients under direct supervision of senior staff, regarding stocks, bonds, market conditions and the history and prospects of organisations either by phone, email, direct contact or review letter.
  • Increasing knowledge of market conditions, specific investment instruments and the economy by researching and interpreting Analyst's reports.
  • Transmitting and recording buy and sell orders for clients in a timely and efficient manner under direct supervision.
  • Managing and reviewing portfolios.
  • Promoting the organisation's full range of products to clients.
  • Identifying and delivering customised investment strategies that are designed to help clients accumulate, preserve and transfer their wealth.

    Typical Experience
    2 - 5 years industry experience, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications - AQF Diploma or higher.
