Report Content Overview
The inaugural edition of the Hewitt CSi Energy Trading Remuneration Report will be released in August 2008. This report will be produced twice a year and will provide a vital source of remuneration and benefits market intelligence for Australian organisations that are either in the energy industry or have employees in energy trading roles. The report will assist participating organisations to attract and retain talented people in this emerging sector by ensuring remuneration is in line with market pay rates.
The survey will cover more than 30 positions within the following job families and sub-families:

The report subscription includes an invitation to a forum facilitated by Hewitt CSi where report participants meet to discuss the report content and findings as well as remuneration/HR issues. This forum is designed to facilitate the sharing of HR experiences and practice amongst HR professionals within the industry and is a useful opportunity for collectively broadening remuneration expertise.
The report will contain:
- Detailed position descriptions and remuneration data for all the surveyed roles
- Data by career level for each surveyed job family. Use this data to enhance job matching, or as an alternative source of data for those positions which cannot be matched to the survey's standard position descriptions
- A survey highlights section that provides staff attrition/turnover reporting (voluntary and involuntary by organisational size); analysis of same incumbent increases and survey-on-survey movement and salary budget forecasts
- An economic commentary
- A comprehensive HR policy & practice report
