Responsible for
Coordinating services and programs designed to maintain animal health and optimise the cost efficiency of livestock production. |

General Manager or State Manager. |

Supervises
No supervisory responsibilities. |

Main Activities
Monitoring disease trends and advising on the implementation of preventative and treatment programs.
Ensuring compliance with animal health requirements.
Providing laboratory services and routine autopsies, litter samples, blood samples, stereological analysis, etc.
Promoting knowledge and awareness of sound animal husbandry and disease control practices through direct communication with farm management and staff, and by conducting formal training programs.
