Responsible for
Performing an analysis and research function to assist in the improvement of yields and disease resistance of crops to be grown on company farms. |

Director of Research, General Manager, or Head of Research. |

Supervises
No supervisory responsibilities. |

Main Activities
Designing field trials and analysing the effect of new chemical and other products on crop growth and yields.
Comparing the performance of different strains of seed under controlled field conditions.
Collating results and preparing periodic and final reports.
