Responsible for
The promotion and technical support of chemical/biological products designed to increase the yield and disease resistance of crops in an area. |

State or Regional Sales Manager. |

Supervises
No supervisory responsibilities. |

Main Activities
Promoting the use of fertilisers, pesticides or similar products by servicing and motivating agents, calling on major clients to discuss needs and implementing a local advertising program.
Reporting on product development and market opportunities identified through field contacts and investigations.
Providing regular sales forecasts and revisions based on prevailing climatic conditions and acreages sown.
Distributing technical literature and providing advice on the use of company products.

Will have at least 4 - 6 years experience with tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science, specialising in Agronomy / Crop Protection. May have Ag-Safe accreditation. |
