Responsible for
Carrying out purchasing activity of high risk and complexity. Leading a team of buyers within a commodity or commodities. |

Procurement Manager - Sourcing/Fulfilment/Bid Team. |

Supervises
Team of Buyers within commodity or commodities. |
| |
Main Activities
Procuring goods and services and developing proposals and/or negotiating complex and high risk contracts consistent with customer requirements.
Working with Functional and Executive Management to ensure early procurement/contracts involvement in developing strategic plans.
Interfacing with Suppliers on issues that affect Supplier Operations and the Company's strategic supply issues.
Performing high-risk vendor evaluations and selections independently.
Leading and directing small teams to obtain business solutions on highly complex, non-standard agreements.
Monitoring the industry to maintain awareness of current practices and future trends.
Developing broad business processes, conducting in-depth analyses and developing detailed business plans with minimal management supervision.
Providing technical, business and process advice and recommendations to management.
Developing new and improved methods of conducting procurement activities to ensure continuous performance improvement.
Monitoring Supplier performance and implementing preventative measures and corrective action as required.
