Responsible for
Controlling the quality and progress of network development/maintenance projects. Could either be responsible for one major project or a number of smaller projects. |

Reports To
Engineer Manager/Chief Design Engineer. |
| |
Supervises
Team(s) of Development Specialists (Design Engineers, Network Engineers) - usually between 5 to 10 staff. |

Main Activities
Managing new development projects.
Providing support for existing products.
Controlling project schedules and quality standards.
Delivering programs on time, meeting user requirements, and in a manner easily modified and maintained.
Liaising with customers and reporting project costs and progress to Management.
Suggesting and evaluating packaged application software/hardware and development tools.
Coordinating the duties of Development teams.
