Responsible for
Managing the process of assessment of existing tower inventory analysis regarding capacity related issues. Coordinating the evaluation of existing structures and sites and the subsequent preparation of reports and recommendations for capital works projects. This is achieved through the management and coordination of engineering specification and on site modification/construction through to the essential client liaison, project schedules and financial management.

Main Activities
  • Coordinating a range of tower based projects in a timely and cost effective manner, ensuring that towers are assessed according to the design standards, schedule, within budget, using safe construction practices.
  • Developing project plans and budgets of all assigned activities.
  • Directing projects to completion, ensuring that all activities are coordinated and completed on time. Interfacing with team members for project planning, potential problems and respective corrective action plan to ensure project completion according to set parameters.
  • Providing status reports. Reviewing and providing weekly updates for all activities. Providing internal customers with comprehensive activity status reports.
  • Managing contractors, and where appropriate, internal staff resources responsible for site assessment activities.
  • Managing the swift and timely resolution of interference issues reported by customers.
  • Ensuring that time and work order documentation is current, accurate and complete.
  • Ensuring that asset information is accurate and current.

    Key Skills
  • Ability to track and diagnose workflow problems and initiate remedies.
  • Basic knowledge of antenna system installation on towers, buildings and other structures.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, technical specifications and contracts.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong contract administration and commercial knowledge and experience.

    Typical Experience
    5+ years experience in a project management role coupled with a relevant degree qualification. Experience in construction activities related to the telecommunications industry.
