Responsible for
Providing regulatory advice and support, managing relations with governments and regulators in connection with regulatory issues and interfacing with third parties within and outside the region on all regulatory issues. |

Reports To
Regulatory Affairs Manager/Advisor. |

Supervises
No supervisory responsibilities. |
| |
Main Activities
Assisting with developing and maintaining an effective organisation capable of addressing key regulatory issues in the region and implementing the relevant aims and responsibilities.
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with Government authorities and other Regulatory authorities and key opinion formers in the region.
Advising and guiding the organisation on regulatory issues affecting the provision of services in the region.
Assisting with negotiations with Governments or Regulators for licenses or other regulatory permission requested by the company.
Acting as part of the Regulatory team which provides a source of reliable information on key regulatory developments to the region and other offices overseas.

Thorough knowledge of the organisation's regulatory experience, both nationally and internationally.
Thorough knowledge of political and economical structures of key global economies.

Typical Experience
At least 5 years of legal experience in a commercial environment, with extensive experience in telecommunications and other utility industry regulation. Advanced commercial and competition law practice skills, both nationally and internationally. |
