Responsible for
Ensuring the preparation and completion of consulting projects to appropriate quality standards within time and cost constraints, as well as meeting contractual requirements and company budget requirements. |

Reports To
Corporate Professional Services Manager. |

Supervises
Consultants involved in Telecommunications Development and/or Networks Integration. |
| |
Main Activities
Liaising with senior staff in client organisations with regard to providing communication services within negotiated contractual obligations for a program or group of projects.
Drawing up a project plan for approval by the customer.
Controlling network design and project planning activities related to large network development.
Maintaining and controlling cost, schedule and quality of all project activities so that the projects run within budget and time constraints and meet agreed customer requirements and standards.
Managing the phases of project development, including requirements analysis, system design, specification, development, testing and implementation.
Managing the installation and field testing of developed networks and taking rectifying action wherever necessary.

Typical Experience
Typically tertiary level education with up to 15 years experience in a technical field with special expertise in the area of systems development and at least 5 years in the management of consulting projects. |

The role has a high profile in the area of operation probably requiring regular presentations to significant industry groups impacting on the operation of the company within the area. Alternative Titles: Practice Manager or Manager Consulting - Regional/Business Unit. |
