Designing, delivering and supporting business email and calendar requirements via the Microsoft Exchange environment |

Main Activities
Making recommendations related to the design and implementation of Exchange that will allow the organisation to best exploit Microsoft Exchange's functionality.
Taking a leadership role in designing and implementing a robust Microsoft Exchange environment.
Monitoring Microsoft Exchange system performance in a proactive manner.
Making recommendations as required with respect to the general running and performance of the Microsoft Exchange environment
Taking a leadership role in designing backup and recovery procedures.
Producing policies and procedures related to supporting the Microsoft Exchange environment.
Providing specialised, escalated technical support regarding Microsoft Exchange to Helpdesk/Desktop support teams.
Training other IT staff in general MS Exchange support procedures.
Providing supporting services to business projects including mergers and project offices.
Participating in the corporate change control process.

Key Skills
Proven experience supporting and administering Microsoft Exchange in a corporate environment.
Experienced in Exchange architecture design and deployment
Experienced with supporting Microsoft Outlook Web.
Proven ability to manage limited scope IT projects and meet agreed goals.
Theoretical knowledge of IT security and technical risk management.
Exposure to all recent versions of Exchange and Windows, clustered Exchange servers, Exchange backup, Active Directory.
Strong customer service focus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous change control and incident reporting processes.

Typical Experience
