Responsible for
Planning and managing the Direct Marketing function of the organisation with the objective of achieving profitability/funding and budgeted targets. |

Reports To
Manager - Fundraising/Bequests or General Manager - Marketing. |

Supervises
Telemarketing Supervisors and Telemarketers (typically casual employees). |
| |
Main Activities
Implementing and project managing direct marketing campaigns, including both mail-outs and telemarketing activities.
Preparing telemarketing scripts and motivating telemarketers to achieve strong results from specific direct marketing campaigns.
Developing, implementing and managing both regular and campaign specific direct mail appeals for donations.
Ensuring direct marketing campaigns represent a cost effective acquisition program to 'grow' the donor database.
Preparing regular reports to management on the performance of direct marketing campaigns against budget.
Managing the maintenance of the donor database to ensure accurate updates and deletions are performed as required.
Managing temporary staffing issues for any telemarketing campaigns.
Assisting with special events as required.
