Responsible for
Providing professional and technical marketing communications expertise to handle advertising, PR and/or promotional activities normally referred to outside agencies or consulting firms. |

Reports To
Corporate Marketing Manager or National Marketing Communications Manager. |

Supervises
No supervisory responsibilities. |
| |
Main Activities
Assisting in the production of publications such as newsletters, product brochures and other promotional material.
Coordinating involvement in shows, seminars and exhibitions, including liaison with external service organisations.
Ensuring the effective internal dissemination of company news, announcements, marketing event calendars and other communications to the field.
Liaising with advertising agencies, public relations consultants and the media.
Preparing editorial for press releases, but more likely coordinating this activity with external PR organisations.
Organising internal promotions and events.

Key Skills
Must have good oral and written communication skills combined with and ability to liaise at all levels inside and outside the company.
This is a hands-on position, requiring the incumbent to undertake a variety of activities. The ideal person would be adaptable to change, and able to act on their own initiative.

Typical Experience
At least 3 years experience in related area, such as advertising, journalism, public relations or event management. May have tertiary qualifications or equivalent in marketing, communications or journalism. |
