Australasian Rail Industry Remuneration Report

Hewitt in conjunction with the ARA's Rail Skills and Career Council produces the Australasian Rail Industry Remuneration Report in June each year.
In 2006, the ARA Skills and Career Council identified a need within the Australasian rail industry for a comprehensive, reliable and authoritative source of market intelligence on pay rates, salary packaging arrangements and remuneration trends. Following a tender process, the committee engaged Hewitt to manage the production of the Australasian Rail Industry Remuneration Reports over the next three years.
The inaugural edition was released in 2006. The 2010 report is now available.

The annual report subscription includes a forum facilitated by Hewitt, where report participants meet to discuss the report content and findings as well as remuneration/human resources issues. These forums facilitate the sharing of human resources experiences and practice within the industry and are useful opportunities for collectively broadening remuneration expertise.
