The Organisation Size Grid

In the top executive more than any other, the size of the company has a direct effect on the magnitude of the job, and thus on the compensation appropriate to that job.

It is for this reason that throughout this report, separate rates are reported for six different 'bands' of organisation size.

Organisation size, for the purposes of this Survey, is determined by the following grid.

The variables used in the grids to determine organisation size are Number of Staff and Annual Sales Turnover or Assets.  The six categories typically relate to the following organisation sizes:
